Family Drugs Collective

Family Drugs Gallery is run by The Family Drugs Collective, the current cohort of artists who work out of the Family Drugs studios. The collective oversees all maintenance and administration for the exhibition space and the studios, including curating and installing exhibitions, running events, promotions, fundraising, and all communications.

Erika Germain (she/her) is an early-career artist, writer and arts worker based in Edmonton AB, on Treaty 6 Territory, who has been at her studio in the Family Drugs building since 2024.

At the gallery, Erika helps with installation, prep work, maintenance, promotions, running social media, planning and delivering programming, and lots of fun communications and admin.

Tim Rechner grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. He has been living and creating artwork in Edmonton since 2001 and has had a studio in the Family Drugs building since 2007.

At the gallery, Tim helps with gallery and event planning, gallery prep, and exhibitions and event promotions.

Lisa Bourque (b.2000) is an emerging artist born in Fort McMurray and living in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta). In September 2023, she moved into her studio at the Family Drugs building.

At the gallery, Lisa helps with studio maintenance and show installation.

Trevor Gray has been a member of the Family Drugs Art Collective since January 1 of this year, 2026. He moved in and got to work January 4. At the Gallery, Trevor performs the valued and demanding role of enthusiastic unskilled labourer.

Kaitlyn Konkin

Kaitlyn Konkin was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on Treaty 6 lands and moved into her studio in the Family Drugs building November 2025.

At the gallery Kaitlyn helps with prep work, maintenance, and merchandise production.

Liam Macgregor is an emerging multidisciplinary visual artist, designer, and BFA candidate at the University of Alberta, working and living in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta). He moved into his studio space at Family Drugs in December 2025.

At the gallery, he handles graphic design, website maintenance, and preparatory work for exhibitions.

Evan Robinson (b. 1999) is a Nisga’a artist from the Pacific Northwest Coast, born and based in Edmonton, Alberta. He moved into his studio at the Family Drugs building in 2023.

At the gallery, Evan helps with prep work, maintenance, and merchandise production.
